i am making a flash shooting game sorta like time crisis but i have a problem... when i reload the shotgun i can keep reloading up to infinity rather that just to 5 which is what i want to limit the clip atc can anyone help?
Nmflash8 :
Thanks this helped me alot ima use this Tut to make an epic game (Etc. add some more art and graphics amybe some break sound effect when it breaks apart) and if its good ill upload to newgrounds and make a shoutout to you ;)
Jeagle101 :
Everything works except my version of flash wont let you use onPress on movieclips. I've tried defining some functions to get around that but no luck so far. Thanks.
Kolman60000 :
So I've gone and expanded on this, and added like buildings and things, but I want to know how to stop it from going into the certain building spot that it can't be hit in. I just need a certain code that will stop it from going into that area
Luther92 :
Dude, awesome video, i did everything exactly like you did, but when i went and tested it, the target will appear at a random spot, but then when i click it, it destroys, then reapears on the same vertical line. ive checked all the codes, but i cant seem to figure it out. could you help me in this case Sam...?
Luther92 :
Good tutorial. You should try and make your voice slightly clearer though. Otherwise your good on informing about relevant things and such(Not like some people that start babbling about stuff that confuses the newbies((Such as myself)) ). Good tutorial.
Djsos202 :
Would It make a difference what flash i have i have the mx and word for word in the action scripts mine turns out crazy score goes from 5 to 0 over and over and it doesnt go to 4 or 5th frame
ThelittleHam :
yes you can easiy do that. you just draw the backround and covert it to a movie clip. but make sure you make the hiding places are made after the targets or the target wont hide. P.S it doesn't matter if your new. its what you want to do about it. iv watched as much tutorials possible. im making games and puttting them on the internet. and ive only had flash foe 20 days
