actualy i thound easyer way to do it first bit the same just last bit what didnt work, 1st.put glint one side (dont do the 20 frame thing) 2nd.put glint other side on next frame, 3rd.dont press f5 drag the the frame to amount of frames you want it to be =)

When I select mask, it still shows the masking layer below when it is locked? I am trying to put a glint or light reflecting off a car in motion. When I choose mask on the layer want the reflection it locks that layer and the light layer it is masked with. The problem is I can still see the light layer. Help!!

When I try to do this, it looks ok when I test it on the Flash workspace, but when I click (CTRL ENTER) to test it on a separate window, the glint rectangle hides the text. Any idea how to fix this? I use Flash CS3 professional.

Did i miss something? i got my letters to do the glint effect, i hit play its fine..but as soon hit test movie or try to export it, all i get is the box moving..

Can I give you guys a hint? Instead of going from Frame 1 to Frame 20, you can also go from Frame 1 to Frame 100 or 200 - Now change the FPS [ Frames per Second rate ] to 60 [ if you selected Frame 100 ] or 120 [ Maximum ] if you selected Frame 200. Now the "Glint" will go much smoother. Nice Tutorial! :)

you lost me there, i had the box moving across the screen with a motion tween, and the text layer had frames that went as long as the animation, so how am i supposed to animate the text layer?
