My god. Thank you so much for this. This is quite a big difference from how AS 2 was working. Didn't know about this change, thanks. Most things shouldn't be too hard now.
Kynchy :
Hello, I have a question. So I linked my flash button to a website. Then brought it into dreamweaver through Insert> Media>Flash and now there is an error telling me that it stopped it form preventing an unsafe action. Help?
12packattack :
You are a saint! iv'e been looking for help with this for hours! i have 48 hours before my assignment has to be in and you may have actually just saved my degree! Thankyou mr legend!
Givaway :
built a site in flash. 17 links [buttons] altogether to 17 swf files. Finished designing it, etc and realized that it was not straight forward to just link the swfs and have them SWAP [note: NOT load into a swf]. Seems Director was easier this way. [did it years back and Im not a coder/programmer at all. Any ideas? AS of now Im stuck with 17 swf files that apparently cant just be linked to by a click of the button and swapped out. - Thanks
Anders1245 :
Well. If your going to change to AS3.0 go with CS3 becuase it still uses AS3.0...or wait around with flash 8 or CS1 and wait for CS3 to drop in price...buy it...TADA!!!! 3.0 at a Cheap Price... Don't ask...
Kareemsalim :
