Fernando :
the reflections are just too good the whole animation was very nice. can i ask you how long did this animation take you to do this effect in after effects. and one more thing is it all the objects were custom or were backgrounds and other stuff?
Sam :
it took me couple of hours to do this effect and it was not so hard. i just pre rendered the background and then used it in my comp. thts it.
Agustin Lopez :
well i already seen same effect in our professor's video . this video helps alot though. creating 3D reflections is a well thought vid it works really.
Sam :
I watched your tutorial. it is a good one and a different method that is new for me creating reflections and refraction. I tried the angled or 3D but your technique is really good to watch.
Alex :
Nice easy optical reflection. I found true reflection that it would not just be a flipped image. The reflection on the surface will be reflecting the bottomside of the image. many people dont look that deeply, but as an artist, I notice. It works well here, because you've faded off a lot of the reflection.
Jorgina :
Creating reflections and refraction is very advanced technique for me. I think i should see some of the basic stuff in after effects. Very impressive tutorial.
Alaxander :
the tutorial is very helpful for me and my question is that is it possible to create the reflection of the whole image or picture. i tried to create it but failed at the layer mask and linear gradient part would be nice if you could help.
Sam :
it should work for an whole image and it would be more easier to do a single object. check out some other tutorials for the effects.
